The Koru phono preamplifier features the sleek, Ross Stevens-inspired curved chassis, but with a clever twist—it’s actually two-in-one. This design allows the power supply to be physically separated from the amplification circuitry, ensuring cleaner sound.
The power supply uses a virtual battery approach, with over 100,000 microfarads of capacitance and sophisticated two-stage regulation. This setup guarantees low impedance and delivers power with extreme precision to the amplification stages.
Equipped with the latest components, the Koru ensures both accuracy and longevity. It’s compatible with low-output moving coil cartridges and higher-output moving magnet cartridges, offering a full range of user adjustments on the rear panel for optimal performance.
Supporting both single-ended and balanced output signals, the Koru also incorporates passive high-frequency and active low-frequency equalization, maintaining stability and finesse across all types of music.
